Hello! My name is Alesha and I’m the founder and dyer here at Yarn Nouveau.

I launched my small business because I love creating deeply saturated, moody colorways and I wanted to share this passion for color with other makers.

I love helping makers discover their affinity for rich, timeless colorways, and over the years I’ve connected with so many makers while vending at fiber festivals and visiting local yarn shops. I love seeing your finished projects in person and hearing about your love of making. 

We only use the highest quality ethically sourced yarns from trusted suppliers to achieve these dream colorways. All yarn is dyed by me in small batches using professional acid dyes.

If you also crave neutrals, you will find several neutrals in both warm and cool tones. Yarn Nouveau’s palette consists of tonal and very gently variegated colors.

My goal is to create beautiful, inspiring colorways that will become staples in your handmade wardrobe.
