Dandelion Sweater Kits

Dandelion Sweater Kits

Meet the Dandelion Sweater by Wool & Pine! Knit up using our Merino DK in two different color combinations.

We have a limited number of ready-to-ship kits on pattern release day. Once ready-to-ship kits are sold out, kits will be dyed to order and will begin shipping in late October.

SIZING & FIT

Dandelion is meant to be worn with 2–8" (5–20 cm) of positive ease, so you can choose a more slim or a more relaxed fit.

To choose your size, measure your full bust and add 2–8" depending on how relaxed you’d like the fit. For example, if your bust measures 42", knit the 48" size for 6" of ease. Or if your bust measures 56", knit the 59.5" size for 3.5" of ease.

There are 8 sizes available:
Bust: 33 (39, 44, 49, 54)(59.5, 65, 70)"
84 (99, 112, 124, 137)(151, 165, 178) cm

KITS

We have two color options, each one named after the main colorway  - Painswick (rust) and A Bitter Blue

Painswick includes Forge (brown), Dashwood (pale beige-pink) and Salem (dark red)

A Bitter Blue includes Bruff (orange), Finch (light taupe) and Most Ardently (dark red-brown)

All yardage has been figured out for you - simply pick your size and we‘ll do the rest! Kits include 100g and 50g skeins for the colorwork. Some sizes require a little more yarn for some of the colorwork in which case you’ll receive a 100g skein instead of a 50g.

Kits are listed as either short or long sleeve and in Painswick or A Bitter Blue. When selecting your kit, be sure you’re choosing either the short or long sleeve option within the color of your choosing.

Once our ready-to-ship kits are sold out, kits will become dyed to order and will ship as soon as they’re ready to go.

This listing is only for the yarn to make the Dandelion Sweater. For the pattern, please visit Wool & Pine’s website or Ravelry page.

Helpful Tips

Our yarns are hand dyed in small batches and we do not have dye lots. Given the nature of hand dyed yarn, skeins may vary from batch to batch, and occasionally even in the same dye pot. We do our best to match all skeins of the same color in your order. However, if skeins vary too much, we will re-dye your order for the most cohesive batch possible.

Even when skeins and coloways match, some minimal variation is possible from skein to skein. Because of this, we recommend alternating skeins in your project for the best outcome.

If you are unsure about the amount of yarn needed for your project, we recommend getting that extra skein as it can be difficult to match dye lots later on because many factors can affect each batch of yarn that we dye.
